Another Independence day is coming on the way. Youths of Nigeria, don't ask Nigeria what progress she has made in the past year. Instead, ask yourself about what you have done for Nigeria in the past year. What impact have you made? Are you thinking about lack of financial resources to do so? You gat no excuse.
We remain the leaders of tommorrow and I tell you, it is what you build today that you will lead tommorrow. Our impacts can be felt online, it can be felt in our school, it can be felt in our homes. Let's make use of the little we have to salvage our country's condition to an extent.

Dream and Reality
There is a huge difference between dream and reality. I could remember when I was in primary school, our computer science teacher then, will say Data is unprocessed information while Information is processed data. This analogy also applies to dream and reality. I will say dream is unprocessed reality while reality is processed dream. The question now is: "how do you process your dream to become a reality?". If you keep dreaming from cradle to grave, you are just gonna be like a snake that crawled on the rock without any traces. You won't have any impact in this world.
My message is to the youths, you have limited time to dream, actualizing your dream should be your priority now. Dreaming won't solve your problem coz just like data won't mean anything to a computer novice, so also will your dream not make any sense to the world. But once it turns to reality, it becomes the talk of the world. The ability to make your dream turn reality is called fulfillment. Once you are fulfilled in life, you gat everything. It is possible! You can do it!! GO FOR THE GOLD!!!

Life Architecture
You are the sole architect of your life. Nobody is gonna draw for you. Most people out there are ready to take from your drawing instruments, only a few could lend or give you more instruments. There is big difference between quality and quantity. You can have a lot of drawings in which none will be good and you can have few beautiful outstanding drawings. You can be rich and very wealthy without being fulfilled in life and you can be fulfilled without having lots of riches. In this life, fulfillment matters most. Most people die unfulfilled and their generations has to suffer for that.
You can make something out of life with the little you have. You can have the most beautiful drawing with just an HB pencil and a ruler. It's just that it will be much more tedious. You need to struggle for you to be fulfilled. Life is not all about money. My biology 102 lecturer once said he discovered that we youths of today are different from the youths of the old days coz we can do anything for money. He said we are another type of humans which should be called Homo sapiens economicus.
I think he is very right about that. I want we, youths, to stand up against immoral acts all for money. Don't do unspeakable things coz of money. Serve your fatherland with truth and honesty. May God be with us.

The Dilemna of Taraba - by Taslim OKUNOLA
Since the arrival of the ailing Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State from USA, some unspeakable things have being going on in the executive and legislative arena of the state. This whole brouhaha started early this year when Governor Suntai had a helicopter crash leading to brain disorder and has since then being in USA where all his treatment bills are paid with the tax payers' money. Pending the time of his treatment, his deputy was appointed Acting Governor of Taraba State by the legislators.
On eavesdropping that the House of Assembly might impeach her husband, the wife of Governor Suntai orders that he be brought home from USA to continue running the state as the governor. But when the legislators visited Mr. Governor, they found out that he is not fully healthy to take control of the state and advise that he should be flown back to USA. The bone of contention here is Suntai supporters wants him to continue running the state with his adverse state of health.
Do they actually prefer power to his health? Or is it that they are fighting for the interest of the people of Taraba State?
Please comment with your own view on this.
Thanks.
